Quote StudioPrivacy Policy
1. Who we are
Quote Studio ("the app") is developed and published by Heet Gabani ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, email gabanihh@gmail.com.
2. Information stored on your device
- Designs: the text, fonts, colors, backgrounds, layers and canvas size of each design you save, its name, and a small preview thumbnail.
- Background photos: if you choose one of your photos as a background, the app keeps a copy of that single photo in its private storage so the design keeps working.
- Favorites and recents: the quotes and templates you mark as favorites, recently viewed items, and premium templates you have unlocked.
- Settings: app language, quote language, theme, export format and quality, watermark and haptics preferences.
This information stays in the app's private storage on your device. We do not receive, upload, collect or store it on any server, and it is never shared with the advertising SDK. The quotes and templates are built into the app, so browsing them sends nothing to us.
3. Photos, files and permissions
- Choosing a background photo: the app uses Android's system photo picker. The app receives only the photo you select; it does not request permission to read your photos and cannot see the rest of your library.
- Saving images: saving a design adds a new image to Pictures/Quote Studio in your gallery. On Android 10 and later this needs no permission. On Android 9 and older, Android asks for storage write access the first time you save. The app never reads, changes or deletes your other photos.
- Sharing: an image leaves your device only when you share it, for example to WhatsApp, Instagram or another app you choose. The app opens that app with your image; nothing is posted automatically. We do not see or control what the receiving app does with it.
- Copying text: when you tap Copy, the quote text is placed on your device's clipboard.
- Internet: used only to load ads and Google's consent form. Quotes, templates, fonts and the editor work offline.
- The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, SMS, phone or photo-reading permissions.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: banner ads and native ads labeled "Ad" on browsing screens, occasional full-screen ads at natural breaks (for example when you leave the editor, or when you return to the app after a while — never while you edit, export or share), and optional rewarded ads that you can choose to watch to unlock a premium template. To serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Device identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID and app set ID
- IP address, from which an approximate location may be inferred
- Ad interaction data (for example, ad impressions and taps), basic device and app information, and diagnostics from the SDK
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and certain US states), you are asked for consent before ads are requested, using Google's consent tools. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices (shown where applicable). You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Security & privacy → Privacy → Ads). Ads are limited to general-audience (PG) content.

5. Device backup
If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include the app's private data (such as your designs and settings) in your personal device backup, so it can be restored on a new phone. This backup is created and stored by Google under your account and its settings; we cannot access it.
6. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK of our own.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites (beyond what Google's ad SDK does as described above).

8. Security
Your data is kept in app-private storage protected by Android's application sandbox. Data sent by Google's ad SDK is encrypted in transit.
9. Retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete single designs in My Designs, clear recently viewed items or reset preferences in Settings, or remove everything by uninstalling the app. See how to delete your data. Because we never receive your app data, we hold no copy that needs deleting.
10. Children
Quote Studio is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Your rights

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The latest version will always be available at this address, with the effective date shown above.
