Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Hueloom ("the app") is developed and published by Heet Gabani ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, email gabanihh@gmail.com.
2. Information stored on your device
- Designs: the settings of each design you save (colors, styles, sliders and random seeds), its name, and whether it is a favorite.
- Wallpaper images: the images you render are kept in the app's private storage, together with small preview thumbnails.
- Settings: theme, export defaults, haptics, recently used colors and recently used categories.
This information stays in the app's private storage on your device. We do not receive, upload, collect or store it on any server, and it is never shared with the advertising SDK.
3. Photos, files and permissions
- Saving images: saving a wallpaper adds a new image to your gallery. On Android 10 and later this needs no permission. On Android 9 and older, Android asks for storage write access the first time you save. The app never reads, changes or deletes your other photos, and it does not request permission to read your photos.
- Setting a wallpaper: this uses Android's standard wallpaper permission, which is granted at install and gives the app no access to your data.
- Sharing: an image leaves your device only when you share it through the Android share sheet. We do not see or control what the receiving app does with it.
- Project backups: a backup is a JSON file that holds design settings only, with no images and no personal information. It is created only when you ask, and you choose where it goes. Importing a backup reads only the file you pick.
- Internet: used only to load ads and Google's consent form. The creative tools work offline.
- The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, SMS, phone or photo-reading permissions.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: banner ads, native ads labeled "Ad", and occasional full-screen ads at natural breaks (never while you edit, preview or save). To serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Device identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID and app set ID
- IP address, from which an approximate location may be inferred
- Ad interaction data (for example, ad impressions and taps), basic device and app information, and diagnostics from the SDK
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and certain US states), you are asked for consent before ads are requested, using Google's consent tools. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices (shown where applicable). You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Security & privacy → Privacy → Ads). Ads are limited to general-audience (PG) content.
Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
5. Ratings
The app may occasionally show Google Play's in-app review prompt. The prompt is provided by Google Play, and any rating or review you leave is handled by Google under its own policies. We do not receive your Google account details.
6. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK of our own.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites (beyond what Google's ad SDK does as described above).
7. Data sharing summary
| Data | Stored | Shared with |
|---|---|---|
| Designs, favorites, wallpaper images and settings | On your device only | No one, unless you share an image or backup file yourself |
| Your existing photos | Never read by the app | No one |
| Advertising ID, IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics | Processed by Google | Google AdMob, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention |
8. Security
Your data is kept in app-private storage protected by Android's application sandbox. Data sent by Google's ad SDK is encrypted in transit.
9. Retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete single designs in My Wallpapers, or remove everything by uninstalling the app. See how to delete your data. Because we never receive your app data, we hold no copy that needs deleting.
10. Children
Hueloom is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Your rights
Because your app data remains on your device, you can view, edit, export (Settings → Export project backup) or delete it directly in the app. For questions about ad-related data processed by Google, see Google's privacy controls. You may contact us at gabanihh@gmail.com with any request.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The latest version will always be available at this address, with the effective date shown above.
